Buddhist considered it a sacred place of Dakinis goddesses known as Sky Dancers and also believe that Guru Rimpoche the founder of Tibetian Buddhism meditated here on his way to TibeAfter the prayers at the temple, people pass through Mebar Lha Gomba, the small monastery of ‘miraculous fire’ which is situated near the entrance of the temple. The monasteries are famous for continuously burning natural gas fire and a statue of the Buddhist Deity Chenrezig.
