The Annapurna Circuit, considered one of the best trekking/hiking trails in the world, is the classic long distance trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trek is one of contrasts between the green, terraced farmland of the Marshyangdi valley and the semi-arid environs of Lower Mustang. The two areas are separated by the Thorong La River (5416m), from the western side is too strenuous and has too much elevations gain to consider in one day, to reach the sacred site of Muktinath. The temple complex is a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists and the scence of the sunrise on Dhaulagiri is particularly eye-catching.

This is one of the classic and most rewarding treks in Nepal which circles the Annapurna massif, starting at either Bhote Order or Gorkha, west of Kathmandu ending at Pokhara. For the most of the treks we can have close views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and the magnificent Machhapuchre. The high point of the trek entails crossing of the 5416m high Throng Pass, from the arid valley of the upper Manang, home of Tibeto- Buddhists, down to the Hindu pilgrimage site of Muktinath, and the upper  Kali Gandaki valley, the worlds deepest river gorge, before heading down to Pokhara. Besides the mountain views, we encounter on this trek a variety of mountain communities of the Gurung, Manangi and Thakali people.

Drive out from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar early in the morning by bus or jeep and drive to Syange (1100m) by jeep overnight at lodge.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Drive out from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar early in the morning by bus or jeep and drive to Syange (1100m) by at lodge. Descend to Syange (1100m) and cross to the west bank of the Marsyangdi Khola on a suspension bridge. The trail descends before climbing through forest to Chamje (1410m). The rocky trail crosses the Marsyangdi khola again, then follows the valley steadily uphill to Tal(1700m), a former lakebd. Tal is the first village in the Manang district.
Day 2

Trek from Syange

Trek from Syange to Tal (1700m) and overnight.
Day 3

Trek from Tal to Bagarchhap (2,160m) and overnight at lodge

The trail crosses the valley floor then climbs a stone stairway before dropping down to another crossing of the Marsyangdi. The trail continues past Khotro and Karte to Dharapani (1960m), Which is marketed by a stone entrance chorten typical of the Tibeteninfluenced villages from here northward.
Day 4

Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2,630m)

Chame is district headquarter and available Police station, School, Health Post, Post Office, Bank, telephone and internet services. There are fine views of Annapurna II (7,935m), IV (7,525m), Langtang Himal( 6,986m), as you approach Chame. The route crosses the Marsyangdi khola.
Day 5

Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,190m) .

The trail runs through deep forest in a step and narrow valley and recrosses to the south bank of the Marsyangdi khola at (3080m). Views include the first sight of the soaring Paungda Dada rock face, an awesome testament to the power of glacial erosion.The trail continues to climb to the popular lunch spot at Dhukur Pokhari before arriving at the lodge. The trail get better views and similar accommodation by staying at upper pissang (3310m), just above town.
Day 6

Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,535m).

A beautiful walking day along pine forest and flat trail with beautiful view of Annapurna mountain ranges. Manang is the last beautiful Himal settlement where you will have nice and comfortable lodges and restaurants. From pissang there are two trails, North and south of the Marsyangdi Khola, which meet up again at Mungji. The southern route via the airstrip at Hongde (3420m) involves less climbing than the northern route, but the mountain views on the upper trail via Ghyaru and Ngawal (3660m) are infinitely better and will aid your acclimatisation. The trail continues from Mungji(3500m) past the extraordinarily picturesque village and gompa of Bragha(3470m), to nearby Manang (354om).
Day 7

Acclimatization day in Manang.

It is important to spend a day acclimatizing in Manang before pushing on to Thorung La (5416m). There are some fine day walks and magnificent views around the village, and it is best to gain altitude during the day, returning to Manang to sleep. The views of Gangapurna Glacier is terrific,either from the viewpoint above the lake or from the praken Gompa, an hour’s walk above Manang. More strenuous day hikes include to Milarepa’s cave and the Ice Lake,high above the valley floor at 4600m.
Day 8

Trek from Manang to Yak Kharkha or Letdar (4800m).

From Manang it’s an ascent of nearly 2000m to Thorung La. The trail climbs steadily through Tengi and gunsang, leaving the Marsyangdi valley and continuing along the Jarsang Khola valley. The vegetation becomes shorter and sparser as you reach Yak kharkha(4020m) and then letdar(4800m). A night in Yak Kharkha or Letdar is important for acclimatisation.
Day 9

Trek from Leadar to Thorong high camp (5416m).

Cross the river at 4310m and then climb up through desolate scenery to Thorung Phedi (5416m).
Day 10

Morning climb to Thorong pass (5416m) via Muktinath (3800m).

The trail climbs steeply but is well used and easy to follow. The altitude will have you wheezing and snow can cause problems, When the pass is covered in fresh snow it is often impossible to cross. It takes about four to six hours to reach the pass.
Day 11

Trek from Muktinath to Kagbeni (2804m).

Muktinath is a pilgrimage sight for Hindus and Buddhists alike. The trail see Tibetan traders here as well as sadhus from as far away as the south of India. The shrines, in a grove of trees, include a Buddhist gompa, a Vishnu temple, and the Jwalamai(Gaddes of Fire) Temple, Which shelters a spring and natural gas jets that provide Muktinath’s famous enternal flame
Day 12

Trek from Kagbeni to Jomsom(2743m).

If you have some extra time, it’s worth continuing south to the traditional whitewashed stone village of Marpha (2680m), which has a gompa and several smaller shrines. Try to be on the trail early in the morning in the Kali Gandaki valley, as strong winds tend to pick up after 11 am.
Day 13

Trek from Jomsom to Nayapul or Pokhara.

The Annapurna Circuit south of Jomsom follows the new road south through the Kali Gandaki valley to Nayapul. Catch a bus from Naya pul to pokhara. Over night at the Hotel.
Day 14

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu O/N.

Free Day in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is one of the cities popular for tourist destination because of its preserved cultural heritage sites. Therefore, today you will be free to explore around Kathmandu, explore the UNESCO listed heritage sites as well as visit the museum where ancient treasures are preserved. You can even do some shopping’s and enjoy your late night in Kathmandu Durbar square. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Trip Introduction

 

Kalinchowk, a perfect destination for a short trek  in Nepal can be done within 3 days. It is a Village Development Committee VDC of Dolakha District in Janakpur Zone in North Eastern Nepal. It receives thousands of pilgrimage and trekkers in a year. It is also one of the quickest access to the elevation of 3790m from Kathmandu via land transport.

The tremendous panoramic view of Himalayas from Kalinchowk, the pilgrimage site for Hindus (Kalinchowk Bhagwati) as well as for Buddhist, the unexplored culture, lifestyle and diversities is the attraction of a Kalinchowk trek in Nepal. It can be visited in any season during a year.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

You will be warm welcome at airport by NEAT Airport representative and then you will be transfer to hotel. Our tour advisor will meet you at your hotel and brief about your program. This day, either you can take a rest at the hotel or enjoy the walk near by your hotel to get familiar with Nepalese lifestyle and culture.
Day 2

Sightseeing/Free day in Kathmandu

For sightseeing, we will be visiting three of the World heritage sites in Kathmandu by private vehicle. Swayambunath Stupa:You will first visit the Swayambunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). It is said that Swayambunath Stupa is more than 2,000 years old, and it symbolizes knowledge. The painted eyes on all four sides symbolize the all-seeing power of Buddha.It is situated to the west of the city on a hill which is 77 meters above the valley. Boudhanath Stupa:Boudhanath Stupa is another important Buddhist pilgrims site. This ancient Stupa is considered one of the biggest stupa in the World. Every morning and evening, many Buddhist devotees come here to pray and circumambulate enabling the visitors to observe local religious practices. Pashupatinath Temple:The sacred Hindu temple Pashupatinath is considered the holiest cremation ground, and people bath in the Bagmati River with a faith of cleansing themselves spiritually. Many Sadhus or Hindu Ascetics live here. During religious festivals, Hindus come to make offerings, and it get more then a million during festivals . Drive back to your hotel. Day 3

Drive from Kathmandu to Charikot and then hike to Kuri

Drive to Charikot (150km) and takes about 4 hours drive to the north eastern from Kathmandu. Lunch at Mude. From Charikot, trek to Kuri which takes about 5-6 hours walk. Overnight at lodge in Kuri.
Day 4

After the breakfast, hike to Kalinchowk summit (3790m.)

which is about 1hours up hill hike to enjoy the superb view of Himalayas. Overnight at Kuri (optional).
Day 5

After the breakfast, trek to Charikot and drive back to Kathmandu

After this exciting and challenging trip, you will drive back from Kurintar to Kathmandu or Pokhara by bus.

Itinerary 2

After an approx. 3 hours of drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Fishling, we will set out for our journey. An experienced guide will explain and will provide information about the trip ahead. We will start our raft from Fishling to Mugling. On the basis of the rapids your counter, it can be classified into 2 – 3 grade. We will have our lunch on a beach enjoying the unique sculptured boulders. After having lunch we will enter the Trishuli gorge. After this adventurous rafting trip, we will drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Hunting Reserves

Hunting reserves is a large area of like where the rare and endangered species are preserved and are hunted in a controlled way only as sports. Dhorpatan Hunting Reserves

Nepal’s only one hunting reserves which lies in Rukum, Myagdi and Baglung District in the Dhaulagiri Himal Range in Western Nepal. It was established in 1983 and was announced to Public in the year 1987. It covers a total area of 1325 km. various trees species including Fir, pine, birch, rhododendron, hemlock, juniper, oak and animal species including Blue sheep, ghoral, serow, Himalayan thare, black bear, pheasant etc are haunted here. Blue sheep is the highly targeted animal here. Hunting is allowed with proper license and certain season of the year. The license is issued by the Department of National Park and Wildlife Conservation in Kathmandu.

 

Activities in hunting reserves

 Hunting:

By its name itself, the major activities carried out in hunting reserve is hunting. There are several seasons for hunting as well; mostly hunting is carried out from May to September. Hunting can be done only by the permit from the Government. Illegal hunting and poaching is prohibiated. Hunting of various species such as sheep, ghoral, serow, Himalayan thare, black bear are done.

 

Trekking:

Beside Hunting, Dhorpatan is well known place for Trekking as well as lot of Trekkers from Inside and Outside the country come to explore the natural resources along with Flora and fauna present here. As the number of animals are in bound to increase in this area, government and forest and wildlife preservation aspects lot of visitors around the year.

 

Jungle walk:

One of the nearest rock climbing sites situated in the North West site of Kathmandu is Balaju Rock climbing which is approximately 30 min drive from Kathmandu. This climbing site can be taken as a place for training as there are many multi-pitch 65m and single pitch 12 m, as well as a place for new experiences of an adventure. There are more than 20 climbing routes and grade 4a to 7b+ with a guide from experienced climbers to the beginners. You will need a guide for climbing if you are new into this.

 

 

Bimal Nagar Rock Climbing Site

 

Another rock climbing site which is 5-hour drive from Kathmandu on the way to Pokhara is Bimal Nagar Rock climbing site. It is 140km from Kathmandu and 60 km from Pokhara. It is 55 m Natural rock climbing where climbers can have an amazing climbing experience along with the majestic view of Mt. Manaslu and Marsyandgi River. It is a newly open climbing site where one can have a professional experience of climbing with the proper guidance from the professional guide and well-skilled climbers.

 

 

Hattiban Rock climbing sites  

 

 

Another rock climbing sites in the southern part from Kathmandu is Hattiban Rock climbing site, which is 26km from Kathmandu which takes about 1-hour ride from the bus. Mostly, this site is suitable for skilled and professional climbers where they can enjoy top level climbing grades. There are more than 10 climbing routes and grade from 6a to 7a. The climbing is intense and the experience is worth giving a try.

Day 2

Kathmandu to Pokhara

From Kathmandu we will drive towards the Pokhara. The drive will continue for about 7 to 8 hours through the main trail. In the leisure time, we can visit at the beautiful and one of the famous places of Nepal i.e. Pokhara. We will stay the night at the Pokhara at one of the best hotel.
Day 3

Hiking to Sarangkot (1590m)

From Pokhara we will make the early morning hike towards the Sarangkot. The hiking to the top of the Sarangkot will offer us great view of the high hills along with the glorious view of the beautiful surroundings including the green forest, cultivated regions, local settlements, beautiful lakes and other several things. We will stay the night over there at some local hotel.
Day 4

Paragliding and sightseeing tour

Today we will have the paragliding. We will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the great sight of the sun rising from the east piercing the white snows and Giants Mountains. Then we will wait for our turn to have the paragliding at the Sarangkot. The paragliding will take us to the Pokhara valley near to the Phewa Lake. After Paragliding, we can visit at the different places where we can enjoy the real beauty of the Pokhara valley. We can visit the lake side enjoying the great view of the surroundings. The splendid view of the white hills and green forest at its waist views most panoramic from all aspects.
Day 5

Pokhara to Kathmandu

From Pokhara we will return back to the Kathmandu. The wonderful view of the surroundings that we can view from the window of the vehicle will be spectacular. Driving for about 7 to 8 hours resting at some places, we will return back to the Kathmandu and rest the night over there.
Day 6

Farewell

From Kathmandu, we will walk towards the airport and will catch the flight towards the home destination. The farewell program organized by the Mega International at the airport will be interesting to attend. After the farewell, we will board up in the flight and will fly towards the home.

You can go paragliding in Pokhara year-round as long as it’s not raining and the thermals are active.

The peak season for bookings matches the normal tourist season in Nepal – September/October/November and February/March. The fall months are the clearest where thermals develop quickly with easy, high flying of up to 3000 m.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Your very 1st day in Kathmandu. The representative from mega International Tours will pick you up from the International Airport and Transfer you to the hotel of your demand or choices
Day 2

Mountain flight/ Kathmandu sightseeing

Today we will let you feel the adventure. We will get up early in the morning and catch a flight which leads us towards the view of the mountain peaks. We will have a close encounter to all the Himalayan peaks for about an hour. We will come to the hotel for breakfast and set for the exploration of Kathmandu city. Today we will visit heritage sites in Kathmandu including Swyambhunath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu Durbar square Pashupatinath out of which some are listed in the UNESCO Heritage site list.
Day 3

Another day in Kathmandu

Today we will explore all those remaining sites or place inside valley. we will move to another city inside valley which is Patan to see the exclusive Durbar square in Patan and from there, we will make our way to Bhaktapur, one of the most famous tourist site and small city inside the valley. There is a lot of heritage, art and architecture to explore from the 14th century Malla Dynasty. 55 Stored window palaces, Nyatopola temple, golden gate, Bhairavnath and Dholeshowr temple are major places to explore in Bhaktapur. Besides Bhaktapur is also popular for ‘juju Dhau’ which is curd. We will even take a taste of Juju dhau in Bhaktapur. Back to Kathmandu and overnight at Hotel.
Day 4

Kathmandu to Dhulikhel/ Hike to Balthali

Early morning we will drive from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel which takes about an hour in a private jeep. We will have our breakfast and prepare for the hike to Balthali Village Resort with a sightseeing tour of Namo boudha. Our hike offers you with the spectacular view of Greenery, countryside landscape, villages of Nepal followed by culture and Tradition. As you walk along the terraced fields you will encounter the true nature with the outstanding Mountains views, hills. our trail leads us to Namo Buddha monastery which is a major attraction of this trial.in the evening we can enjoy camp firing with snakes along with the local wine. Balthali to Nagarkot hike

Sunrise view in Nagarkot/ drive to Kathmandu

Early morning we will hike to the sunrise viewpoint in Nagarkot. The viewpoint offers you the views of the mountains which are around 8000m high like Langtang, Gauri Sankar. The sunrise view at the peak of these Himalayas is fascinating and beautiful. After our sunrise view we will have breakfast and prepare to explore the villages in Nagarkot we will have lunch in Nagarkot and drive back to Kathmandu / overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 7

Explore chovar, kritipur and khokana

Today we will take you to explore the typical Newari culture tradition and food. Early morning we will Hike to chobar, a famous place in Kathmandu. We will explore the Park named Manjushree where it is believed that Kathmandu valley was once a lake and Manjushree cut the hill of the chobar to let the lake drain as even today Bagmati river flows in between the hills. From chovar we will hike to Kritipur and take a glance at the typical Newari culture and food. From Kritipur we will turn our way to Khokana, where we can again explore the culture and tradition along with the natural scenario and back to hotel/ overnight at Hotel
Day 8

Hike to shivapuri

Early in the morning, we will drive to Budhanilkantha, the holy side of sleeping Hindu god Vishnu and observe the stone statue of Lord Vishnu from the outer periphery of the pond. From there we will embark on a moderate 15km hike to Kathmandu nearest national park Shivapuri National park. After the entry permit, we will walk for 2 hours through the woods to hidden Buddhist Monastery Nagi Gompa and ascend uphill 4 km to enjoy the sweeping view of Kathmandu valley, as well as this spot even, offers you magnificent Mountains view in case of the clear day. You can enjoy your lunch here and descend downhill through the woodlands past waterfalls and reach Sundarijal. From there we can catch a local bus to Kathmandu and begin our half an hour journey to Kathmandu. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 9

Free day in Kathmandu

Today will be your free day in Kathmandu. You can enjoy your day in Kathmandu by visiting Historical old Museum or can even do some shopping. Final Departure.

You can even have a tour around Durbar squares inside valley or UNESCO Listed world heritage sites such as Changunarayan, swyambhunath, several 3 Durbar squares in Kathmandu Bhaktapur and Lalitpur including Boudhanath Stupa. After your sightseeing tour, we will help you with the preparation for the trek. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 3

Drive/ Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150m/490 ft) 1 hour

Early morning we will either drive or fly to Nepalgunj. Driving from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj takes about 12 hours whereas flight will take about an hour. We will catch the earliest flight\ or drive early to Nepalgunj right after our breakfast. In the case of remaining time, we will explore Nepalgunj town which is near the border between Nepal-India as well as the gateway to Humla. This town has also many things to offer such as its diverse culture and tradition. Overnight in Nepalgunj.
Day 4

Fly from Nepalgunj to Talcha airport (2719m/8920ft)

After breakfast, we will take a flight to Talcha Airport in Karnali zone which takes about 40 min from Nepalgunj. One of the treacherous yet astonishing airports in Nepal is Talcha airport in the Rara National park which lies in the Mugu district of Nepal. So, we either explore the villages in this district or rest for the next day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5

Acclimatization day around Rara lake and national park

Our 5th day lead us to our major destination. Today we will explore the Rara Lake and national park. Rara lakeside view gives you the amazing feeling as it is one of the biggest and deepest freshwater lake in the Nepal Himalayas with the average depth of 100m/ 330ft and maximum length of 5.1 km. Rara national park is a protected area in the Himalayas covering 106km in Mugu district. Many kinds of species are preserved here and are the country's national park. Day 6

Fly from Talcha airport to Nepalgunj

Day 7

Drive/fly from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu

Whether we choose to drive or fly we will do it early in the morning. Mustang “The Lost Kingdom”

Mustang is popular among the visitors by its name itself. One of the most visited place by both national and International tourists. Mustang is considered as the land of Lamas and Buddhism, and a Himalayan kingdom.T he trip starts with Kathmandu sightseeing and ends at Kathmandu as well. Along with Kathmandu, you will get to explore the famous tourism cities in Nepal like Pokhara, Jomsom and pilgrimage places such as Muktinath. Mustang was open to the trekkers and visitor only in 1990 which is why it is considered as the Last Forbidden Kingdom. Mustang is considered as the land of Lamas and Buddhism, and a Himalayan kingdom.

Mustang lies in Northern Nepal Covering an area of 3573km with it’s headquartering on Jomsom. It extends northward on the Tibetan plateau. It is popularly known as “The Himalayan Kingdom” or “The Mountain Desert”. Mustang was once a forbidden Kingdom bordered by Tibetan plateau and sheltered by some of the world’s tallest peaks. Until 1992 Mustang was restricted area for tourism. The word Mustang was derived from the Tibetan word meaning “Plain of Aspiration”. Kali Gandaki valley forms the border to east and west. Kaligandaki River, George, various ancient Gumpas and stupas, Tibetan culture, various caves, the deserts with green vegetations around, the splendid view to Mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri are the major attraction of this area.

ITINERARY

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu

Your very 1st day in Kathmandu, You will be picked up by our representatives from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Thamel.
Day 02

Drive to Pokhara

Early morning after breakfast, you will be leaving for Pokhara another famous city in Nepal which is famous for its natural Beauty. The 7 hours drive through classic mid hill way and mighty Trishuli River with their sandy beaches and the villages show you some of Nepal’s finer attraction. You will be exploring some of the sites of Pokhara. Overnight at Pokhara
Day 03

Fly to Jomsom and trek to kagbeni (2847m)

You will be leaving for Jomsom from Pokhara earliest flight. It takes about 15 min to reach Jomsom from Pokhara. The upper part of the Kali Gandaki region can be explored through Jomsom. From Jomsom, you will begin your trek to Kagbeni, gateway to upper mustang through the trails and lunch and overnight at kagbeni.
Day 04

Trek to Chele (3,050m) 5-6 hrs walk

Today the trek will be longer as we will be walking for about 5-6 hours as the distance from kagbeni to chele is about 15 km. Trekkers passes through Kalobhir and reach Tangbe village which is major settlement are for Gurungs. The major attraction of this village is the apple orchards, buckwheat field. From Tangbe, the trek will continue to Kaligandaki Bridge through chhusang villages. After crossing over Kaligandaki Bridge you have to manage climbing uphill to reach the destination of the day “chele”. On your way to chele from Kagbeni you will explore the cultural influence of Tibetian along with a majestic view of Nilgiri and Tukuche peaks. Overnight at chele.
Day 05

Trek to Syangboche (3,800m) 6-7 hrs walk

After breakfast, we will start our journey to Syangboche which is 11.5 km and about 6-7 hour walking distance as the trail is a mostly uphill walk. Spectacular mountain views, beautiful landscape, villages of Ghyakar and Samar and Chungsi cave are the major attractions of this trek. There are two routes after Samar village to reach syangboche one via Bhena and Yamda la another via Ranchung cave monastery. Either of the ways brings the spectacular natural scenario and let you explore the cultural influence of these regions.
Day 06

Trek to Ghami (3,520m), 5-6 hours

Day 6 of our Mustang tour starts with breakfast at Syangboche. Today we will set our destination from Syangboche to Ghami which is 9.3 km and takes about 5-6 hours walking distance. Tamagaon, Ghiling, Chhunggar and Jhaite village are the traditional route from Syangboche to Ghami. The best view of Mount Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Mustang valley can be seen through Nyi la 4020m. After a certain walk, we will come across Ghami village which is 3510m above the sea level and the major destination of today’s trek. This valley embraces the Tibetian traditional art, the stunning view of the peaks, barley and buckwheat field in the middle of a cold desert as well as the sky which seems really near to the ground.
Day 07

Trek to Charang (3,560m) 4 hrs walk

Ghami to Charang is another trail that excites you the most. After half an hour walks from Ghami we will see the longest ancient mani wall Of mustang which is one of the popular places over there. This trails even hold great historic importance as it marks the history of the soaring red cliff which tells the legends of Padmasambhaba. 4 hours walk will lead you to the wonderful village of charang where you can visit ancient monasteries and white place of charang which is considered as the heritage in Charang.
Day 08

Trek to Lo-Manthang (3,840m)

The distance between Charang to Lo Manthang is about 11 km which takes about 4-5 hours walking distance. Early after breakfast, we will start our journey to Lo-Manthang and the walking trails are flat and wide which makes walking easier than before. This route offers you the best views of adventure along with the rural life. Lo La is the highest point in between Charang to Lo-Manthang from where you can catch a first glimpse of the Lo- Manthang.
Day 09

Exploration of Lo-Manthang

One of the must not miss the city in upper Mustang is Lo- Manthang. It is a city with cultural and historical importance. It is the capital city of Mustang where the settlement is less with 150 houses. It is a city with the finest Buddhism stupas. Four major monasteries 14th-century palace imposing 4-storey building are its major attraction. you will be free to explore these heritage sites today. After breakfast, your guide will take you to chhosar where you will be able to explore Nyphu Cave Monastery at the side of the soaring cliff, 2500 years old Jhong skycave and prehistoric settlement of humans. During the afternoon, after lunch, you can walk to the palace and explore other ancient Tibetian Buddhist monasteries. Overnight at Lo- Manthang.
Day 10

Trek to Dhamkar (3,820m) 7-8 hrs walk

After breakfast, we will exit lo manthang and walk west terrain which will reward us with the splendid views of Lo-Manthang and Charang valley. Trek to Dhamkar led us to the world’s oldest Tibetian monastery Ghar Ghompa which was built around the 7th century. Dhamkar is the land of the red cliff which offers us the thrilling walk with different trails above the eroded hills and canyons. We will cross the Dhi Pass at 4100m and reached our destination of the day Dhampar, where we will spend the night at Guesthouse.
Day 11

Trek down to Syangboche

Early morning we will leave Dhampar and hike down to Syangboche which offers us with the splendid views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri peaks. Rachen Gompa, a mystical Gompa which is believed to be grown by itself at the top of the cave is the major attraction while walking down to Syangboche. Today, you will also explore those places which you have missed while the uphill trek. Overnight at Syangboche.
Day 12

Trek to Chhusang (2,980m) 5-6 hrs walk

It’s a returning journey where we will again trace back to the south where we started our journey from. Early morning, after breakfast we will leave for Chhusang which is 5-6 hrs walk from Syangboche. our trek today will include the legendary Chungsi cave Monastery where saint Padmasamvaba meditated around the 7th century. Chhusang offers you the spectacular view of mountains peak and kaligandaki valley. The night will be spent in a Guesthouse.
Day 13

Trek to Jomsom (2,720m)

We will again trace our journey to the south where we will go through the trail of Jharkot village which offers us to explore Tibetan Monasteries with herbal medicine centre and ancient fortress which was once a palace. This will be your last day at mustang so; we will make your trip memorable and entertaining by some fun activities including dancing, singing and farewell program. overnight at Jomsom
Day 14

Fly to Pokhara and rest

Here, we will return back to Pokhara again. Early morning Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara rewards us with the view of Kaligandaki George from the sky and the breathtaking view of Annapurna and Dhauligiri.we will rest at Pokhara remaining day and walk towards lakeside at night which refresh us after our long walk. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 15

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu afternoon free at leisure.

After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Kathmandu via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Kathmandu. We also have the option for a flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara for 35 minutes. We then do an overnight at our hotel in Thamel.
Day 16

Kathmandu sightseeing

You will explore the heritage site of Kathmandu city. After breakfast you will visit the pilgrimage site Pashupati temple along with swyambhunath and Boudhanath stupa. The next hour you will be taken to visit the city of fine arts Patan Durbar Square, followed by Kathmandu and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
Day 17

Departure

After Breakfast, we will drop you to Tribhuvan International Airport and wish you for a safe journey as your satisfaction is our prime objectives.

Kathmandu Lumbini tour is a classic pilgrimage tour which will make your trip more fun and exciting. Lumbini is always regarded as a place of significant where “light of Asia” Gautam Buddha was born. Lumbini has the number of temples including Mayadevi temple and many monasteries, libraries and research centre which will grab your attention. There is a holy pond puskarini which is believed to be a place where Lord Buddha has his first bath after his birth. Lumbini was listed on a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1997.

 

The holy sites of Lumbini have the number of ancient monasteries a scared bondhi tree an ancient bathing pond and a famous pillar Ashoka, which is believed to be built by an Indian emperor Ashoka and Maya Devi temple where the supposed place of birth of Buddha is located. From early morning to early evening, pilgrims from various countries perform chanting and meditation at the site.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrival at Kathmandu, hotel transfer

The very 1st day in Kathmandu, you will be picked up by our representative and transfer you to the hotel at Thamel. Overnight at Thamel.
Day 2

Fly to Bhairawaha and drive to Lumbini

After breakfast, you will fly from Kathmandu to bhairawaha, gateway to Lumbini. From there you will drive to Lumbini and enjoy the view of monasteries including Ashok pillar, Maya Devi temple and scared garden and make your way back to Kathmandu
Day 3

Explore a day around Lumbini

Today you will be visiting all the remaining places of Lumbini, world heritage sites. You will come across the ancient sandstones and other many holiest pilgrimage centres as well as the contribution of other countries to this holiest place. You can learn and expand your knowledge about the place by asking the locals or the priest. If you are interested you can learn the history of Lumbini and overnight at hotel
Day 4

Fly back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the airport from there you will fly back to Kathmandu. Today you can enjoy the night at Thamel
Day 5

Kathmandu sightseeing

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the most famous cultural sites in Kathmandu like Patan durbar square, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur Durbar square including Swyambhunath and Boudhanath. You can also do some traditional arts and sculptures shopping in Kathmandu.
Day 6

Departure

Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and take you to an international airport.
